Aduud Challenge
Youth entrepreneurship and innovation.
Project Overview
Turning promising ideas into viable youth-led businesses
The Aduud Challenge is Somali Youth Vision’s annual startup competition and incubation program for aspiring young entrepreneurs. It was created to help young people move from promising ideas to practical, viable businesses that can contribute to employment and local economic growth.
Participants receive business-development training, mentorship, and access to seed-funding opportunities. The program helps young innovators strengthen their ideas, understand the fundamentals of enterprise development, and build the confidence needed to launch or grow a startup.
Aduud Challenge forms part of SYV’s entrepreneurship and innovation portfolio. It complements the organization’s wider work in employability, technical training, youth leadership, and socio-economic resilience by giving youth a structured route into enterprise creation.
